Josefina Goberna Tricas (ADHUC-Universitat de Barcelona) is the coordinator of the monograph Maternidad y COVID-19. Nuevos retos en entornos asistenciales sin-rostro y sin-contacto (LU Editions, 2022). The COVID-19 pandemic caused profound changes in health care during pregnancy and childbirth, and pregnant women have consequently suffered increased stress. Vulnerability has been given primary attention and poses new ethical, political and social challenges addressed in this monograph, which has contributions from both the academic and professional fields. Emilia Bea (Universitat de València); Ainoa Biurrun (Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu); Margarita Boladeras, Silvia Costa Abós, Júlia Martín Badia and Carme Perelló (Universitat de Barcelona); Augusto Claudio Andrés Obando Cid (Universidad de la Frontera); and Pía Rodríguez Garrido (Universidad Mayor de Chile) collaborate, among others.

This monograph is a result of the projects "Dar a luz en tiempos de pandemia COVID-19", funded by the Fundació Grifols y Lucas, and "Vulnerabilidad en el pensamiento filosófico femenino" (PGC2018-094463-B-100. MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033/FEDER).
