Dolors Molas receives the Dones Inspiradores Award

Dolors Molas (ADHUC-Universitat de Barcelona) has received the Dones Inspiradores Award. Created by El 9 Nou, the award aims to recognize empowered women who exercise positive leadership and introduce them as role models for future generations.

 

Dolors Molas is an honorary researcher at ADHUC, a retired professor of Ancient History at the Universitat de Barcelona and coordinator of Tácita Muta (Grup d'Estudis de Dones i Gènere a l'Antiguitat) since its creation in 1998. Her research work revolves around two main axes: Mediterranean protohistory and the world of northeastern Iberia, and women and gender in ancient Greek and Roman societies. She has numerous publications on these topics, particularly on forms of violence, she has coordinated or organized the annual "Tácita Muta" seminars and conferences.

 

In this first edition of the award, Pilar Godayol (CEIG, Universitat de Vic-Universitat Central de Catalunya) and Elena Crespi, psychologist, have also been awarded. The gala will take place at the Espai ETC in Vic. It will be streamed live on EL 9 TV.
