This worshop is the result of the ViquiVIG Project awarded in the INDOVIG23 call. It is also part of the activities of the Consolidated Teaching Innovation Group at the University of Barcelona Lletra de Dona.
The aim has been to promote the study of gender-based violence from the collection of a heritage library, the CRAI Old Collection Library, and specifically from its collection of legal pleadings, in order to reconstruct the lives of women and violence and disseminate them as biographies in Viquipèdia. In this way, in addition to contributing to the reduction of gender bias, we are incorporating research on gender-based violence into student learning, along with skills related to dissemination and a commitment to open knowledge.
