The Museum of Molins de Rei celebrated de Night of the Museums 2025 with a very special activity called: “Ressonàncies del passat: viatge a la prehistòria a través dels sons”. During the event, Miquel López Garcia introduced our Artsoundscapes project and invited visitors to travel back in time by listening to the sounds of prehistory — including the deep, powerful tones of prehistoric conch shell trumpets.
The Museu Municipal de Molins de Rei was the perfect place for this activity, as it houses a remarkable conch shell trumpet from the Cova de l’Or archaeological site. Thanks to the museum’s collaboration, we had the unique opportunity to study this incredible object and share its sound with the public for the very first time.
