Pol Antràs – new member of the BEAT International Advisory Board

The BEAT Research Institute is pleased to announce that Professor Pol Antràs (Harvard University) has become a new member of the BEAT International Advisory Board (IAB). The IAB is composed of researchers of international prestige in the field of economics, who help the institute to identify our strategic priorities, promote our activities, and improve the quality and social impact of the research of our members.

Pol Antràs is Robert G. Ory Professor of Economics at Harvard University, where he has taught since 2003. He is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), where he served as Director of the International Trade and Organization (ITO) Working Group. His teaching and research fields are international economics and applied theory. He has published many papers in leading economics journals, including the American Economic Review, Econometrica and the Quarterly Journal of Economics. His most recent work is focused on global value chains, on the interplay between globalization and interest rates, on global pandemics, and on international relations.
