The Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences participates in ISPE’s Training, Access, and Development Fair for the Pharmaceutical Industry

On March 19, 2026, the Faculty participated in the Training, Access, and Development Fair for the Pharmaceutical Industry organized by ISPE, held at Hotel SB Icaria Barcelona.

This event brought together university students and young professionals with the aim of bringing the pharmaceutical industry closer to new talent and facilitating their access to the sector. The event also served to highlight the main challenges in drug development and new therapies, as well as innovations in the field of pharmaceutical industry and engineering.

Throughout the day, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., attendees were able to visit different stands, connect with companies and training centers, and take part in networking activities. The Faculty was present to showcase its academic offerings and strengthen its ties with the professional sector.

The program included several round tables and conferences on current topics such as Quality by Design (QbD), the implementation of the Pharma 4.0 model, mentoring within the pharmaceutical industry, as well as experiences related to the employability of young professionals. It also addressed the different departments that make up the industry, from production and quality to engineering, technical services, and emerging areas such as robotics and informatics.

One of the highlights of the event was the speed networking sessions, which allowed participants to interact directly with companies and industry professionals, fostering the creation of synergies and new job opportunities.

With this participation, the Faculty reaffirms its commitment to the comprehensive training of students and their integration into the workforce, while promoting spaces for interaction between academia and the pharmaceutical industry.
