Safety, Health and Environment

As established in the UB prevention plan, the section on Safety and Health proposes improvements and interventions in safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, psychosociology and occupational medicine. Additionally, advisory and assistance services are offered to the various members of the university community with the aim of promoting and supporting the integration of health and risk prevention in all its fields and in all the activities carried out at the University.

With regard to the environment, guidelines are provided to make university activities increasingly environmentally friendly, and to provide the university community with solutions to reduce the environmental impact associated with teaching, research and administrative activities. Information is provided to promote and advise on environmental protection (mobility, consumption, waste generation and management, etc.), as well as on the courses offered.
At the Food Science and Pharmacy Faculty, the Committee on Safety, Health and the Environment is responsible for promoting activities and actions in this area
