University of Barcelona, within the best 50 on scientific productivity in the world
The University of Barcelona holds the 49th world position and it is the only one at a state level which appears to be within the 50 best universities regarding scientific productivity, according to URAP 2015-2016 (University Ranking by Academic Performance), a list made by the Middle East Technical University (METU) in Turkey, which evaluates the performance of 2.000 universities worldwide.
