A Closer Look at the MSc in Economics Class of 2025
The UB School of Economics welcomed 27 new students to the MSc in Economics for the 2024-2025 academic year, including mobility students. These students represent 12 different nationalities, with an average age of 27. More precisely, 59% are from Europe, 29% from Asia, 6% from America, and 6% from Africa.
This diverse group of people will now pursue a cutting-edge programme designed to train and educate young economists to undertake top research in Economics. These students enrolled in the MSc in Economics have undergraduate degrees in Economics (65%), Mathematics or Engineering (18%), and Other Social Science degrees (17%).
The director of the programme, Dr. Vahagn Jerbashian, welcomed the new class of the MSc in Economics on September 25, 2024. During this session, students received guidance on the programme as well as information on all resources and services offered by the university.
