The second edition of the UB School of Economics Young Researchers Meeting highlighted the excellence of the research done in the field of Economics at the UB
The UB School of Economics hosted the second “UB School of Economics Young Researchers Meeting” on October 31, 2024. The event represented an outstanding opportunity to showcase to the UB research community the work done at the UB School of Economics by our researchers who joined the Faculty of Economics and Business during the last years. It also provided a good opportunity to establish scientific discussion and networking between the different generations of researchers at the UB Faculty of Economics and Business.
The programme included a keynote speech entitled “The Interactions of Social Norms about Climate Change: Science, Institutions and Economics” by Antonio Cabrales, professor at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Finally, researchers who joined the UB School of Economics during the academic years 2022-2023 and 2023-2024, and who are in the early stages of their academic careers, presented their research work highlighting the diversity, excellence, and promising future of the research carried out at the UB School of Economics.
