This year the conference examines issues related to technological advances and their impact on democracy and putting special attention to blockchain technology and artificial intelligence (AI) regarding the media, social networks and governance of societies

Ideathon is a 24-hour ideas contest that invites students to imagine and propose innovative ways to apply GenLayer technology to improve digital governance and democratic  engagement.
It is not a technical or programming event, but a space to think, collaborate and create  transformative ideas that connect technology and society. The aim is to promote creativity, critical thinking and the entrepreneurial spirit of young people,  offering them the opportunity to work as a team and present proposals to a jury assisted by  GenLayer’s artificial intelligence.
