This year the conference examines issues related to technological advances and their impact on democracy and putting special attention to blockchain technology and artificial intelligence (AI) regarding the media, social networks and governance of societies
As AI and algorithms reshape media and spread misinformation, the power to define truth is shifting. Journalists, platforms, and interest groups compete to frame reality. Who owns the narrative when machines generate, filter, and amplify stories? This session explores how algorithms and AI condition issues such as representativeness, accountability, and the epistemic agency of citizens.
