In the Bachelor's degree in Audio-visual Communication (Faculty of Library and Information Science) we implemented Service-learning experiences in four formats:
 

• Service-learning Bachelor's degree in Audio-visual Communication and Bachelor's degree in Medicine and in Podiatry

Since 2016-2017, students of the subject Projects 2, in Audio-visual Communication degree, and students in Medicine and Podiatry degrees, collaborate in the dissemination of medical knowledge through the production of audiovisual products. The objective is to disseminate a responsible use of the most prescribed groups of drugs among the population. We participate three teachers.

•   Service-learning  Bachelor's degree in Audio-visual Communication and Col·legi Oficial de Bibliotecaris-Documentalistes de Catalunya

From 2017-2018, students of the subject Projects 2, in the Bachelor's degree in Audio-visual Communication collaborate with the Col·legi Oficial de Bibliotecaris-Documentalistes de Catalunya in the dissemination of the activity of professionals working in Catalan libraries. To this end, an audiovisual report is being prepared. Two professors collaborate.

• Service-learning Bachelor's degree in Audio-visual Communication and Arxiu Històric del Camp de la Bota i la Mina

From 2017-2018, students of the Final Degree Project (TFG) of Bachelor's degree in Audio-visual Communication collaborate with the Arxiu Històric del Camp de la Bota i la Mina in the dissemination of the historical memory of this area of ​​Barcelona. To this end, a documentary with archive material is being prepared. 4 teachers collaborate in it.
 

• Service-learning Bachelor's degree in Audio-visual Communication and Serveis Lingüístics (UB)

From 2017-2018, students of Final Degree Project (TFG) of Audio-visual Communication, collaborate with the Language Services of the University of Barcelona in the dissemination of the Catalan language and culture among students who are part of mobility programs university.

These initiatives are promoted with the help of the Program for Improvement and Teaching Innovation (PMID) of the University of Barcelona.
