Book

The idea of organising IRED'19 arises from the reflections of this publication.

Education 2018-2020. Challenges, trends and commitments

In the book promoted by IRE-UB, which has counted on the participation of the Institute of Research and Educational Innovation of the University of the Balearic Islands, various authors reflect on the challenges and trends in education, while at the same time pointing to their own commitments on the issues addressed.

Through brief articles, aspects such as the characteristics and identity of university education are discussed, as well as their implications for the development of society; the new trends in educational research and methodologies; the orientation acquired by teacher training; the training in specific education disciplines; and the values in education with respect to social responsibility.
