Adriana NICOLAU JIMÉNEZ is a Margarita Salas postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Modern Languages ​​and Literatures and English Studies and ADHUC-Research Center for Theory, Gender, and Sexuality, at the Universitat de Barcelona. She has a PhD from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya with the thesis Feminismes al teatre català contemporani (2000-2019) —which was awarded the Extraordinary PhD Award in Information and Knowledge Society—, in addition to holding a degree in Catalan Philology (UAB) and a master's degree in Literary Theory (ENS-Sorbonne-Paris IV). She has published articles on literature, theater and gender in journals such as Tangence, Feminismo/s, New Theater Quarterly, Revista de Catalunya and Revista de Filología. She practices dissemination through platforms such as Núvol and El Temps de les Arts and at the beginning of 2021 she co-curated the Cicle Lluïsa Cunillé with Josep-Anton Fernàndez at Sala Beckett in Barcelona. Her current research is based on the concept of "archive of feelings" proposed by Ann Cvetkovich (2003), to study the affective dimensions of transformation processes by which the individual experience becomes political, in the Catalan theater of female authorship of the 21st century.
