Jorge CARRILLO FLORES is a predoctoral researcher at ADHUC—Universitat de Lleida. He has a master’s degree in Hispanic Literature, where he specialized in Salvador Novo. His doctoral thesis, supervised by Dr. Rafael Mérida Jiménez, studies the representation of masculine homoerotism in the Mexican literature produced during the second half of the 20th century. His research focuses on gender studies, the construction of a homoerotic space in Mexican literature and its cultural assimilation.
