Júlia VERNET GAUDES is a predoctoral researcher at Seminari Filosofia i Gènere and ADHUC—Centre de Recerca, Teoria, Gènere, Sexualitat. Having graduated in Philosophy (UB, 2019) and holding an MA in Contemporary Thought and Classical Tradition (UB, 2020), she has focused her research on the critical work of Kant and Hannah Arendt, with special emphasis on the issue of freedom and imagination. Her Ph.D. research examines contemporary receptions of Kantian imagination, with special attention to the relationship between this faculty, the body and intersubjectivity. She works under the supervision of Dra. Lorena Fuster (Seminari Filosofia i Gènere-ADHUC) and Dr. Antonio Castilla.
