Lectora invites contributions for issue number 25

Call for Papers

Dossier 25 of Lectora. Revista de dones i textualitat, which will be published in 2019, is entitled "¿Una empresa de mujeres? Construir la re(d)pública de las letras: editoras iberoamericanas contemporáneas". This issue aims at problematizing the tendency of literary studies to be more concerned about artistic texts and contexts than about the conditions of production, distribution, and canonization of a professional field ruled by certain unwritten rules and by tensions and interests determined by its dual cultural and literary nature. This dossier is open to contributions that delve into the importance of being a woman editor and into the processes of construction of this category in the contemporary literary field. Lectora 25 will be coordinated by Pura Fernández (Consejo Superior de Investigadores Científicas, CSIC). Deadline for submissions for all sections is December 15, 2018. Lectora provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
