On the centenary of the author's death, the first translation into Turkish of a work by Emilia Pardo Bazán has been published. The novel, Bir Balayı Yolculuğu (Istanbul: Paris Yayınları, 2021), titled Un viaje de novios in Spanish, has been translated by Nesrin Karavar (ADHUC–Universitat de Barcelona), researcher specialized in Turkish literature written by women. The text has a prologue by Ada del Moral, novelist, collaborator of El País and researcher with Beca Leonardo en la Fundación BBVA. Currently, there is only one Ma thesis about Emilia Pardo Bazán in Turkey, and her works works in Spanish are only available at the library of Instituto Cervantes in Istanbul.
