The Angelus Novus Foundation has awarded eight prizes in the first edition of the Walter Benjamin Awards for intellectual work dedicated to spreading the ideas of Walter Benjamin. Fina Birulés, honorary researcher at the Seminari Filosofia i Gènere-ADHUC, has been awarded in the category of Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Contemporary Thought for her book Hannah Arendt. El món en joc (Arcadia, 2023; Spanish translation Hannah Arendt. El mundo en juego, Katz, 2025). The book facilitates access to Arendt's thought, clarifies concepts, and introduces new horizons of interpretation. The Palau de la Virreina hosted the first edition of these awards in a ceremony conducted by Pilar Parcerisas.
