Maria Dolors Molas Font, researcher with Tàcita Muta in the Consolidated Research Group Creació i Pensament de les Dones, has edited the volume De las mujeres, el poder y la guerra. Historia y creación, published as part of the series “Mujeres y culturas” (Icaria, 2012). The book seeks to reflect on the relationship between women, weapons and war, making explicit how, throughout history, women of distinct social classes, ranks or generations have carried out public acts, including both the peaceful and the violent, in order to demand their rights or denounce abuses of power and social injustice. The book includes the participation of, among others, Joana Masó (Centre Dona i Literatura), Tàcita Muta researchers Elisabet Huntingford Antigas (Universitat Rovira i Virgili), Aroa Carolina Santiago Bautista and Joana Zaragoza Gras (Universitat Rovira i Virgili), Àngela Lorena Fuster Peiró (Seminari Filosofia i Gènere), and the art historian Erika Bornay.
