The University of Barcelona is among the top worldwide universities in 29 out of the 52 scientific areas analysed in the Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2017. In fifteen of these disciplines, the University of Barcelona holds a position among the Top 100 and in the Top 50 with four of them. These are some of the recent conclusions of the new edition of the Shanghai ranking.
