Investigador Ramón y Cajal en el Departamento de Matemática Económica, Financiera y Actuarial de la Universidad de Barcelona desde enero de 2023. Previamente trabajó como investigador en el Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research de Rostock, Alemania (2013-2014), en la Johns Hopkins University de Baltimore, EEUU (2019-2021) y en el Centro de Estudios Demográficos (CED) de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (2021-2022).
