Synthetic media blur truth and fiction, reshaping politics, journalism, and public trust. As deepfakes grow more convincing, societies must rethink authenticity. This panel examines the role of regulation, verification, and education in protecting democracy in an age where new digital technologies can blur the frontier between fiction and reality.
