The response to fasting and refeeding reveals functional regulation of lipoprotein lipase proteoforms

Our latest research on lipoprotein lipase (LPL) has been published in the journal Frontiers in Physiology (click here to view the article). LPL is a key role player in the uptake of fatty acids from bloodstream to the tissues, and its regulation is a crucial process to understand how they are distributed depending on energy needs. LPL shows different proteoforms. In our last paper we study the distribution of these proteoforms in different rat tissues and their regulation under physiological conditions.
