UB Economics faculty members awarded funding from the Ministry of Economy for seven research projects
UB Economics faculty members have been awarded €204,200 for seven research projects. The funding is provided by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness for two separate lines. One research project has been granted funding in the framework of the “National Programme for Fostering Excellence in Scientific and Technical Research”, with a total allocation of €41,000. On the other hand, six research projects will receive funds from the “National Programme for Research Aimed at the Challenges of Society”. In this case, the amount rises to €163,200. These projects address a wide variety of topics, such as risk analysis, crisis resilience and crime. Other projects focus on city challenges, public policy, effects of globalisation on the economy and demography and educational interventions.
