The European Biosafety Association (EBSA) has announced a new edition of its annual congress, which will take place at the BMCC in Bruges with pre-congress courses and specialised scientific sessions.

Spain has its first biosafety level 4 (BSL-4) laboratory, a strategic facility for research into high-risk pathogens and for preparedness against biological threats.
