Partners
One of the unique aspects of our program are the partnerships we have developed with diverse local organizations and associations in our field.
Within each course, students will have the opportunity to take part in guided visits and on-site activities with our partner organizations, allowing them to observe and actively take part in field studies that play out, in the real world, the classroom topics.
We firmly believe that field work is a vital aspect of study abroad. We strive to incorporate field activities to our courses, so that students can experience the culture of destination on site, and take those observations with them into the classroom for discovery, debate and discussion.
Some of the activities with our partner organizations include (but are not limited to): guided tours of food production and distribution sites; local market visits guided by experts and high-rank employees; hands-on and demo-style culinary workshops; guest speakers from a range of related institutions and companies; brief stages or volunteer work; development of a thesis and/or business plan with the guidance of partner organization staff; etc.
