Minimum number of credits for enrolment

Regulations on continuance of studies establish the minimum and maximum number of credits for different students:

Full time students: between 49 and 60 credits
Part-time students: between 20 and 48 credits

Therefore, students must enrol a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 60 credits per academic year

Students required to take bridging courses who wish to complete them at the same time as regular master's subjects must enrol the corresponding bridging courses and a minimum of 20 master's degree credits (Bridging courses+ minimum 20 master's degree credits)

There is only one enrolment period per academic year. Students must enrol in all the credits they wish to take in that academic year (first semester and second semester subjects).

Students who apply for a general grant should check the credit requirements established in the call.

Recognised credits are included in the number of credits for enrolment.

The Decree 115/2023, of 20 June, determines the tuition fees and other services for the 2022-2023 academic year

Students from EU countries, including Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland, Andorra and China; or registered as residents in Spain

(1) Fee approved by the Economic Committee of the UB Board of Trustees
(2) The Decree on public fees of the Catalan Government establishes that a coefficient of 1.4 be applied to the fee per credit for students holding one or more official master's degree qualification and/or meeting the requirements to receive it. Applicants are required to submit a sworn statement on thir previous academic training upon enroment in order to ensure the correct application of this surcharge.
(3) The coefficient of repeat subjects of the master's degree is applied to the credit fee for A students as established in the price decree of the Catalan Government and to students B on the price approved by the Economics Committee of the UB Board of Trustees (€82.00 per credit).
