Bank of England PhD Internships
The Bank of England offers internships for individuals currently undertaking PhDs to work collaboratively on research projects with Bank staff for two to three months. PhD interns therefore play an active role in their research environment. To be considered, you should be expecting to submit your PhD thesis within the next two years.
All fields are considered, although we’re particularly interested in candidates with a background in the following areas: Monetary economics; Open-economy macroeconomics and international finance; Applied econometrics; Macro-finance and asset pricing; Financial economics, including banking theory/regulation and credit risk modelling; Economics of payment systems and networks.
