‘Sexism is not just wrong. It is also expensive’. On August 22nd 2015 The Economist ran an article about Latin American workforce and its effects to the region’s GDP based on the paper ‘Aggregate Costs of Gender Gaps in the Labor Market’ written by Marc Teignier (University of Barcelona) and David Cuberes (University of Sheffield). This paper examines the quantitative efects of gender gaps in entrepreneurship and workforce participation.
