Postdoctoral position in Public Economics, Urban Economics, Applied Microeconomics available at UB School of Economics
The Department of Economics at the Universitat de Barcelona School of Economics and the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB) invite applications for a three-year Postdoctoral position beginning in September 2017. Fields of interest include Public Economics, Urban Economics and Applied Microeconomics. Applicants are expected to show outstanding commitment to research and must have obtained a PhD when taking up the position.
Successful applicants will be expected to teach in English on the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, to develop independent research programmes achieving international recognition, and to be involved in Department, IEB and School research activities. Applications should be submitted via the EconJobMarket website and must include a CV, three letters of recommendation and a copy of the Job Market Paper as well as of any other relevant research output. Based on the interviews, the Department will invite some candidates for seminars in March/April.
