Erasmus+ KA2: Cooperation Partnerships and Small-Scale Partnerships

Collaborative projects between organizations aimed at improving the quality and relevance of education, training, youth, and sports. Each of these sectors has its own specific objectives and characteristics that contribute to capacity building and international cooperation.

  • Cooperation Partnerships are characterized by their broad scope and impact, with funding amounts of EUR 120,000, EUR 250,000, or EUR 400,000 for the entire consortium. They last between 12 and 36 months.

  • Small-Scale Partnerships are designed for organizations with less experience and capacity, with funding amounts of EUR 30,000 or EUR 60,000 for the entire consortium. They last between 6 and 24 months.

Erasmus+ KA2: Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE)

The Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) action supports the strengthening of educational capacities and opportunities in countries outside the Erasmus+ program, addressing their specific needs and emerging challenges. By improving the quality of education, these projects aim to foster development at both local and regional levels.

Depending on the funding strand, CBHE projects receive between EUR 200,000 and EUR 1,000,000 for the entire consortium, and have a duration of 24 to 36 months.

Erasmus+ KA2: Alliances for Innovation

Alliances for Innovation aim to strengthen cooperation between education and emerging professional needs. This action promotes the adoption of innovative methodologies in the labor market, especially in emerging sectors, by fostering new talent and skills.

Depending on the specific lot, these projects receive between EUR 1,000,000 and EUR 4,000,000 for the entire consortium, and last between 24 and 36 months.

Erasmus+ KA2: Centres of Vocational Excellence

The Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) support the improvement of vocational training and foster collaboration between training centres, universities and other entities. The aim is to create innovative learning environments and develop quality skills that help people advance in their careers. These projects receive up to EUR 4,000,000 for the entire consortium. They last 48 months.

Erasmus+ KA2: Erasmus Mundus Action

The Erasmus Mundus action promotes excellence and the internationalization of higher education worldwide through the implementation of official, inter-university, and academically outstanding master’s programs.

Erasmus Mundus Design Measures support institutions in preparing to offer an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master. These are preparatory actions aimed at fostering the creation of new joint programs. The funding is EUR 60,000 for a single beneficiary, and the projects last 15 months.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters involve the implementation of new master’s programs with mandatory mobility, aiming to train high-level professionals with strong international qualifications. The funding covers institutional support, a scholarship budget, and additional contributions for students with special needs. It supports four editions of a master’s program of 60, 90, or 120 ECTS, typically lasting 74 months.

Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Actions

Jean Monnet Actions support the dissemination of knowledge in areas related to the history, politics, and law of the European Union. These activities aim to promote active European citizenship and spread the EU’s core values.

  • Jean Monnet Modules, Chairs, and Centers of Excellence promote teaching on EU-related topics and raise awareness of how EU policies affect the economy, rights, and daily life. These actions provide funding between EUR 35,000 and EUR 100,000 for a single beneficiary, and last 36 months.

  • Jean Monnet Teacher Training supports the training of school and secondary education teachers in EU-related subjects. It offers funding of up to EUR 300,000 for a single beneficiary, and lasts 36 months.

  • Jean Monnet Policy Debate encourages academic debate to produce studies, articles, and policy recommendations on both internal and external EU policies. It provides funding of up to EUR 1,200,000 for the entire consortium, and lasts 36 months.

  • Jean Monnet Networks facilitate the creation of collaborative networks, knowledge platforms, and communities of practice among teacher training institutions. Funding can reach up to EUR 300,000 for the entire consortium, with a duration of 36 months.

The Creative Europe program promotes Europe’s cultural and artistic diversity, as well as the competitiveness of the cultural and creative industries. Its actions support cooperation, innovation, and competitiveness projects in the fields of arts, culture, and communication.
