Deadlines and calendar
The online nomination and acceptance request forms for the 2026–2027 academic year will be available from 2 March 2026.
Your home universities must nominate you through the procedure specified under UNIVERSITIES by the following deadlines:
• 18 May 2026 for:
- Faculty of Biology
- Faculty of Philosophy
- Faculty of Geography and History
- Faculty of Information and Audiovisual Media
- Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science
- Faculty of Psychology
- CETT (University School of Tourism)
• 1 June 2026 for the remaining faculties.
APPLICATION SUBMISSION: You must send all required documentation to the destination faculty/affiliated centre before:
• 1 June 2026 for:
- Faculty of Biology
- Faculty of Philosophy
- Faculty of Geography and History
- Faculty of Information and Audiovisual Media
- Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science
- Faculty of Psychology
- CETT (University School of Tourism)
• 15 June 2026 for the remaining faculties.
Non‑EU students are advised to submit their application (and associated documents) well in advance in order to process their entry visa (in their home country) with the Spanish consular authorities, or to complete any legal procedures required prior to their timely arrival in Barcelona.
The general calendar for the first semester is:
- Classes: from 14 September 2026 to 29 January 2027.
- Examination period: from 8 to 29 January 2027.
Christmas holidays: from 24 December 2026 to 7 January 2027
