Erasmus+ Mobility (Inside EU)

Facultat de Biologia

New European programme encompassing all education, training, youth and sport initiatives. It is part of the Europe 2020 strategy and runs from 2014 to 2020.

Erasmus+ includes the existing programmes of the Lifelong Learning Programme as well as the international higher education programmes: Mundus, Tempus, ALFA, Edulink and bilateral programmes, and Youth in Action.

Erasmus+ is structured in three actions:

  • Key Action 1: people mobility.
  • Key action 2: cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices.
  • Key Action 3: support policy reform.
Key Action 1: people mobility

Key Action 1: people mobility

  • Erasmus mobility for teachers:

The aim of the call for applications is to facilitate teaching placements for UB academic staff at public and/or private institutions (universities, research centres, companies, etc.) in eligible Erasmus+ countries with which the UB has signed an Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement for the mobility of academic staff for the purpose of teaching.
The number of grants that can be awarded during the academic year 2014-2015 is 52.

  • Joint Master Degree:

    Former Erasmus Mundus Masters.
Integrated international study programme at the highest level to build a university master's degree of 60, 90 or 120 ECTS, delivered by an international consortium of universities from different countries where the opportunity is given to participate with partners with specific expertise and interest in the studies covered by the joint programme.
Among the most important objectives are to promote quality improvements, innovation, excellence and internationalisation of universities. More information.
Key action 2: cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices.

  • Strategic Partnerships:
It supports the development, transfer and/or implementation of innovative practices and the deployment of joint initiatives promoting cooperation, peer learning and exchange of experiences at a European level.

It aims to develop initiatives addressing one or more fields of education, training and youth education and to promote innovation, exchange of experience and know-how between different types of organisations involved in the fields of education, training and youth or in other relevant fields. Some mobility activities are supported as far as they contribute to the objectives of the project. More information.

  • Knowledge Alliances:

They are established between higher education institutions and enterprises with the aim of fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity, employability, knowledge and/or multidisciplinary exchange, teaching and learning.

They aim to strengthen European innovation capacity and foster innovation in higher education, business and the wider socio-economic environment.

They give priority to projects that contribute to the modernisation of European higher education systems, i.e. to raising the levels of employability attainment that Europe is experiencing. More information.

  • Capacity Building:

They support cooperation with partner countries in the fields of higher education and youth. Capacity Building projects aim to support organisations/institutions and systems in their modernisation and internationalisation processes. Some mobility activities are supported as far as they contribute to the objectives of the project.

This action contributes to the development of sustainability, including socio-economic growth, in partner countries, and should ensure the development and the principles and objectives of EU external actions, including social cohesion, equity, and adequate geographical diversity. More information.
