He is part of the research group in intercultural education (GREDI-URV) and the Research Center for Behavior Assessment and Measurement (CRAMC) recognized and funded as a Research Institute by the Rovira i Virgili University since 2006. .

His personal scientific-technical trajectory has focused on three areas: the evaluation and improvement of the quality of life, the construction of psychometric instruments and the delimitation of the scope of absenteeism and psychosocial factors in the services sector.

He has participated in the construction of instruments for the evaluation of impulsivity (the study carried out in the framework of the project SEJ2005-09170-C04-04), for the measurement of personality (carried out in the project C04-04PSI2008 -00236) and for the measurement of the psychosocial climate (RIPSOL 2006/09), integrity at work and values at work.

Initial research work on absenteeism was funded by private funds (Reddis-Matt, Mútua Activa) and managed to introduce tools to assess this type of behavior in service companies concerned with minimizing its impact on service quality. loan and its repercussions on quality (OSS1 and OSS2 funded contracts). They are a good example of the most recent research work on absenteeism and quality of life in the HORECA sector. At the management level, he has been the coordinator of the Official Master for the Training of Secondary School Teachers, Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences and Psychology of the Rovira i Virgili University. From June 2014 to July 2018 he held the position of Vice-Rector for University and Society at Rovira i Virgili University.
