Information

The site was discovered in 2016 by members of the Castelló Potholing Club and excavations began in 2017. It is a site with very particular characteristics, as it lies within a very narrow, elongated cavity, making it a challenge to excavate. The work being carried out has documented an interesting sequence of occupations beginning in the Upper Palaeolithic period and ending around the Middle Neolithic.
