I graduated in speech therapy at the Universidad del Bío-Bío (Chile), I completed a specialization diploma in clinical audiology at the University of Chile (Chile) and a master’s degree in neurosciences at the Universidad de Valparaíso (Chile). I am currently a doctoral student in Biomedicine at the University of Barcelona and I joined Brainlab at the end of 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Carles Escera.
My interest is to focus my clinical training with the investigation of new techniques to assess auditory processing in the neonatal and infant population. This will make it possible to detect possible difficulties in the encoding of speech sounds in the baby from the moment of birth, and with this, propose different types of approaches, both preventive and treatment
