International Conference. Multifaceted Edom. Recent Research on Southern Transjordan in the Iron Age from an Archaeological and Cultural-Historical Perspective

The conference focusses on Edom in Transjordan. Originally planned to take place at the German Protestant Institute of Archaeology in Amman in June 2020 the conference is now turned into a virtual event taking place from 8th - 10th of June, 2021.

The conference is organized by Katharina Schmidt, German Protestant Institute of Archaeology (GPIA) in Amman, Rocío Da Riva, Facultat de Geografia i Història/Universitat de Barcelona, Benedikt Hensel, University of Zurich and Mohammad al Najjar, Amman.
