Featured Projects
Project “La romanització a Mallorca: El fossat romà de Ses Salines” (Consell de Mallorca, Ajuntament de Ses Salines).
Directors: B. Vallori and B. Roig.
This research project aims to explore the Roman fort of Ses Salines. This fort is traditionally known thanks to an impressive defensive ditch 3 m deep that had never been studied scientifically. Amongst the goals of this project are surveying accurately the ditch plan, dating of the fort phase through archaeological excavation of the ditch and related silos, and defining the chronology and features of the settlement that developed later.
